Cobbie Cares seeks to educate, inspire and connect youth aging out of foster care to a successful transition to adulthood.
Our Vision
All youth who participate in the Operation Cobbie program are empowered through education, mentorship, and support services to become contributing members of society.
Who We Are
COBBIE CARES, Inc is a non-profit dedicated to supporting young adults transitioning from foster care to adulthood in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Reason behind the name: It’s our goal to see our community come together and support young adults in need as they transition to adulthood, in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. Through support and resources, our community can achieve this goal. COBBIE CARES hopes to serve as a guiding light – a North Star – for our young adults as they create the momentum needed that helps us improve the quality of their transitions into adulthood.

COBBIE CARES invites youth to our monthly workshops and trainings to increase their knowledge and help them stay connected and build stable relationships. To participate in a workshop, youth must register within the timeframe allotted on the calendar. Once registered they will receive an email or text message notification. Some of these workshops have include financial budgeting, nutrition, stress management, life skills, self-care and a variety of other topics.
